LOVE LIKE CRAZY

LOVE LIKE CRAZY

DO EVERYTHING IN LOVE. 1 Corinthians 16:14

 What is Love Like Crazy?

Every summer, Crossroads Fellowship asks the church to Love Like Crazy and do “random acts of love” for family, friends and even strangers. Whether mowing your neighbor’s lawn, babysitting for a young family or buying a stranger coffee, people spread the love through kind, generous and compassionate acts.

We also get together to collect items for organizations, clean the neighborhood, and feed the homeless at a local park.

We encourage you to take advantage of “Love Like Crazy” opportunities that you are presented with throughout the day, but here are a few of the group events we are doing this summer:

Tuesday, August 15 @ 6:30pm – Clean Up (help clean up the church & our community)
Sunday, August 20 @ 4:00pm  – Beach Baptism (come out to support those getting  baptized at Ventnor City Beach)
Sunday, August 27 @ noon   AC Outreach (help serve lunch and clean at Browns Park in  Atlantic City)
Saturday, September 2 @ 11:00am – Bus Station Outreach (serve hot dogs and water at    the  Main St. bus station in Pleasantville)

Why do we Love Like Crazy?

No one modeled love more perfectly than Jesus Christ himself. He showed love to everyone – even those rejected by society. And, in the ultimate act of love, he laid down his life to save us.

It may seem silly or even a little crazy to show a little love to someone you may never see again or ever meet – but it might change their lives!

How do I learn more?

Since we are inspired by Jesus, we encourage you to learn more about him, his word and how you can follow him. Click on some of the links below, contact us at Crossroads or come visit us in person to learn more.
