The church was founded back in 1992, when the late Rev. Concepcion (Boo) Mouliert and his wife Gwen, planted a church in South Jersey. Taking the original church name Proclaiming His Word Fellowship from Gwen’s women’s ministry, they gathered in a small meeting room at a local Pleasantville hotel for their first Sunday service. The church began to quickly grow, adding small group Bible studies, student ministries, and other outreaches. After moving to a larger facility, the church is now equipped with a sanctuary, meeting rooms, and an attached annex building with a gymnasium and cafe. Pastor Boo went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2021, and Gwen continues to serve in the ministry leading Women of the Word, among other duties, each week.
The church’s name was changed to Crossroads Fellowship in 2013. It has grown into a multicultural congregation of Christ followers who together live out their faith and share God’s love with the community.
